Hi! My name is Elliot! I love coding and creating. When I found the Indie Web, I knew it was the perfect place for me. This is my home on the web. I do technically use social media, but barely. While technically able to be used on mobile, this site is intended to be viewed on desktop and will not look good on mobile. What do I like to do? I teach English as a Foreign Language. My hobbies are writing (music / books / poetry), drawing, listening to music, making games, coding, and anything creative that challenges me to think! I also love hanging out with my cat, Tonya. I love collecting CDs!

Originally this site was made and hosted on Wix. The old site was only for my music. I wanted to create a more casual site to host more of my projects and also just be a personal space. Between Wix being super expensive and less customizable, I wasn't happy with the old site. When I started to learn more about the indie web, my decision was made. I re-taught myself basic HTML after years without writing in the language and made this. Right now it's very simple, as this site is new and I am basing it off the rather simplistic design of my old site while I build confidence. Eventually, it will be more fun and filled with personality! I'm so excited to see where this site takes me and what it becomes.

To the best of my knowledge, no AI was used in the creation of the assets within the site. AI was not purposefully used to make this site, but obviously that's harder when you can't turn off AI suggestions when you google something. In fact, this site is part of the human made webring This site was made completely by scratch, with no copied code except from tutorials or to link spotify songs or to link other people's site buttons. Everything on here I did by trial and error or by looking up tutorials, usually from stack overflow. Thank the G-ds for stack overflow. Seriously, if you have ever contributed to stack overflow, especially to do with HTML, you have my literal undying gratitude and I owe you my life.
